Telling: Share Fairs
This module discusses Share Fairs as an example of the "Telling" type of KM approach. Share Fairs are participatory events that promote learning from participants' experiences to improve their work. The module is based on the Knowledge for Health Project's several years of experience planning, delivering, and evaluating Share Fairs as a way to stimulate knowledge exchange. This module covers:
- What a Share Fair is;
- Key activities that should take place to ensure success;
- Lessons learned and "knowledge nuggets" from a regional share fair held in Arusha, Tanzania in 2016;
- Tools and resources for planning and executing a Share Fair;
- The importance of evaluating a share fair, and innovative options for doing so.
