Visual Content
FreeAbout this training module
Visual content formats can sometimes communicate messages better than text alone. This module walks you through a step-by-step process for creating visual pieces like videos.
Global health and development programs usually have access to large amounts of data, which can be time-consuming and difficult to sift through. Synthesizing text-heavy information and presenting it in a visual, easy-to-digest format can help ensure that information is reaching the right audiences.
In this module, visual content is defined as information and concepts that are shared through videos, infographics, or photo essays, among other formats. Providing content in a variety of outputs is important to reach different learning styles. Visual content can be used to communicate information through visual cues (animations, icons, infographics, photographs), which can be more easily understood by visual learners.
