About this training module

Understand the five phases of eLearning course development and learn best practices in writing online course content in this module.

This module focuses on development of online courses, or eLearning courses, as a way to synthesize and share knowledge with your audiences. When developing eLearning courses, it’s important to think about the learner, or the audience, as well as the content and to try to focus more on the content that’s really relevant for the learner to know. Using educational frameworks, like Bloom’s Taxonomy, can help eLearning course authors design content that maps to specific cognitive skills that the course aims to achieve.

The module is based on the K4Health Project’s 12 years of experience managing the Global Health eLearning Center, a premier online learning destination for global health and development professionals.
