Content Adaptation: Case Study

Medical Aid Films is a nonprofit using film and innovative media to transform the health and wellbeing of women and children around the world. In this brief article, Medical Aid Films Content Development Manager Josie Gallo describes a partnership project with GE Healthcare, which required the adaptation of 10-to-15-minute-films to new 5-minute versions, by essentially focusing on key concepts and simplifying level of detail. The films were also adapted to a southeast Asian context. Gallo shares details of the process and lessons learned.
